It’s down to Sean and Lee who get to pick their teams for the final task from the living dead (the people who have  been fired).  Some interesting dynamics come about including:

• Brent and Allie passed up.  OK, you would probably figure Brent would get passed up (although we think he got treated unfairly poorly from the onset).  But Allie – at the beginning of this season, how could you have imagined her not getting picked.  After what we’ve seen for the past season, you could pick the looser – he is the one who would have picked Allie.  Might as well pick people and give them nicknames that highlight their disabilities and ailments. After all didn’t both team leaders say something about having to be able to GET ALONG with the people on their TEAMs?
• Lee picked Lenny to be his right hand man and Sean picked Tammy to be his first lady.  This may have been a mistake for both.
• Last but not least, wasn’t Pepi fired because he wasn’t able to lead or was it because he made so little impression that Trump had to look at his royal notes to see who the Hell Pepi was?  I’d like to see Pepi do something spectacular and put his name in the annals of history but right now I just have two big questions in my head:  Why Pepi? Who’s Pepi?

Ding dong the witches are gone!  What could have been a lame task was rather interesting - the teams design new uniforms for the hotel staff.  Synergy creates “innovative” outfits that are plain awful - Sean said it best “Oh My God”.  Gold Rush updates the current uniforms, adds some flair, and a lot more functionality (shouldn’t all clothes have armpit air vents - seriously), and come up with rather cool costumes.  Anyone out there see the new Embassy Suite bellman?

Sean leads Gold Rush to a victory and Lee finally stays out of the Boardroom.  Tammy “steps up” to be Project Manager and is a one-woman team completing this task.  Not only can we not figure out what Roxanne and Allie did on the task but we think they actually hurt any hope they had of winning.  After more eye-rolling then we could all stand Tammy gets fired and Allie promises Trump she will “be good”.  Uggghhh - we are disgusted by Allie and Roxanne’s actions this episode!  However, we are impressed by the reward this time and look forward to hearing Sean and Lee’s voices on the new Dreamwork’s movie.

Finally - an interesting challenge that requires the teams to be creative and sell, sell, sell.  Sean jumps over to Gold Rush and joins their team while the Synergy girls dance “The Happy Dance” over the news.  It appears that Gold Rush is smoking Synergy by getting an exclusive with the RU cheerleaders, having the head start at the pep rally with flyers and announcements and finally getting the word out to the fraternities - but alas (that is a perfectly good English word, right Apprentice Sean?) the “Gals” out sell the team by delivering their food.  And there was NO “happy dance” in the Carrino household.

We rant about the pathetic Synergy team and give kudos to Lee and Sean’s ability to keep quiet in the boardroom.  Also, our topics of the day are:

• Why is it so wrong that Synergy won?
• In calling Sean and Lee to ask if they should share the cheerleaders, was Michael being a good negotiator or was he just being wimpy?

Tammy & Sean - romance brewing, Allie & Roxanne - let’s just love and support each other, Gold Rush - can’t we all just love each other, Mike & Marji - who don’t we HATE?

Were fliers the best either team could do to promote the Hair Cuttery grand opening?  Neither team showed great marketing but at least Allie realized the higher sales would be from product vs. cuts and she pulled a win out for team Synergy.  PM Charmaine was more worried about product families and getting her hair done and led her team, Gold Rush, right to the Boardroom.

Lee played all sides of the fence and personified the image of the politician (the negative image) doing nothing to help the task and everything to keep from being fired.   Charmaine deserved to be fired but in a shocking move Trump pulled a double and fired Tarek also - ugghh!
